A Murder Mystery with Cows

The annual Queen of the County Contest kicks off and it’s time to name a new Queen! This year is different, however, as reigning Queen Emma May Mackeral decides to cling to power and retain the crown, only to be subsequently murdered!  From that point on, devious plans and ruthless behaviors dominate the contest to become the Queen of Hill County while everyone tries to figure out who killed Emma May!  A zany, fast-paced farce with four actors and about a zillion characters including crazy locals, gun-toting cheerleaders, conspiracy theorists, California transplants, and even cows from outer space.

The Queen of ______ County is full of local references making it ideal for touring.  Each show is named after the county where it is presented.  Four actors and an extremely minimal set make staging the show even easier.  Except there are costumes.  A great many costumes for crazy quick changes.
